In the bowling National Centre in Bratislava on Wednesday, February 20 in the afternoon, twenty candidates met to gain more information about the new generation of the popular in-memory data platform, at a discussion meeting with the notable name SAP S/4HANA gets the floor.

On this occasion, it is worth noting that SAP has been heavily dedicated to the development of SAP S/4HANA for several years. The company keeps adding new functionalities while compatibility with original versions of SAP ERP is getting lower, and in addition to that, their support ends in 2025.

The participants of the Bratislava seminar were therefore interested in hearing the speech the SAP representative – Pavel Koutný – regarding the conversion of license agreements and licensed products to SAP S/4HANA.

Slová Martina Němečka z IBM Slovensko prezradili, prečo je voľba infraštruktúry pre databázu SAP HANA dôležitá a aké výhody v tomto smere ponúkajú produkty IBM. Nechýbali ani praktické návody a ukážky, ako možno čo najjednoduchšie a najvhodnejšie prejsť na novú Hanu – Josef Šumbera z Nessu a Viktor Szlatky z partnerskej spoločnosti Informa rozprávali o skúsenostiach s migráciou a implementáciou a odporučili vhodné postupy z pohľadu systémového integrátora.

At the end of the meeting, there were also questions from the audience, when the participants clarified the newly acquired knowledge and reassured that the early transition to SAP S/4HANA actually brings many benefits. An informal discussion at a common dinner and a subsequent sports program, a bowling tournament, contributed to the good mood, in which the participants ended the seminar in the early evening.
